The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCCR) requires water systems to prepare and maintain an inventory of water service line materials. Initial inventories are required to be submitted to state primacy agencies by October 16, 2024. The following documents comply with the requirements set forth by the EPA and explain what efforts were done to complete this. The documents are:
- High Meadow Ranch Water District – Letter to Customer – Explanation: This letter was sent only to customers whose water service line was determined to be “Lead status unknown.”
- High Meadow Ranch Water District Inventory Template – Explanation: This is the template, produced by the EPA, for water systems to track and submit their water service line inventories.
- HMR Phasing Map 8-16-2018 – Explanation: This map represents Phase I, II, and III infrastructure replacement projects. These projects replaced all water infrastructure including water service lines up to the water meter pit with HDPE pipe. Phase I was completed in 2019/20 and Phase II completed in 2021. Phase III is scheduled to begin construction in the Summer of 2024.
